Winnetka Home Remodel

This Winnetka home remodel transformed a 1920’s traditional brick home to fit today’s lifestyle while staying within the existing footprint.

In order to give the home a spacious and airy feel, we opened the kitchen to the adjoining rooms; hallway, dining room and living room.

The new kitchen featuring white custom cabinetry, has a large island with seating at one end and a concealable TV at the other end. The backside of the TV niche is a display cabinet with LED lights and wire mesh panels. Our cabinet shop created a range hood with a convenient remote controlled spice rack that is hidden when not in use. The new fresh kitchen pantry has multiple shelves with bead board backing and a contrasting walnut counter top.

We built a beautiful custom display cabinet that has a hidden drawer at the bottom. Its color compliments the blue-gray built ins in the family room.

The changes made in this Winnetka home remodel have now given the homeowners what they wanted- a bright, airy spacious home with a well functioning kitchen. All cabinetry created in our Evanston cabinet shop.        Read about our design processes.
