This transitional kitchen design in Chicago Gold Coast combines light & dark stained woods against a white subway tile backsplash for a striking focal point in the open space. The black quartzite waterfall style countertop and contemporary style light pendants add to modern feel.
The original kitchen was separated, hidden by a partial wall. The removal off the wall brightened the whole space giving it a more expansive feel.
The original compact butler pantry/bar was replaced with dark stained cabinets with glass upper panels & space for a wine cooler at the bottom. A beautiful mosaic backsplash highlights the space.
