4 Distinctive Kitchen Islands

Custom work is the hallmark of Benvenuti and Stein and for that reason we are able to create what our clients envision exemplifying unique designs and superior craftmanship.

Kitchen Islands are often the focal point of a kitchen. Below are samples of some aesthetically pleasing yet versatile working islands.

This Northfield Kitchen project was designed with  the concept of “Mis en Place” loosely translated as “Everything in Its Place”. The island counter top that appears to look like petrified wood seamlessly brings the kitchen into an inviting focus.
It houses a unique recessed prep sink which allows a 21 x 17 cooking space to still exist in the middle of the island, a convenient paper towel dispenser, readily available spice jars and bowls.

The multi-level island with curvilinear breakfast seating of this River Forest home renovation has a combination of marble and walnut counter tops. The end panels of the island conceal refrigerator drawers. To see the enire project visit
